Morcho Studio — Sydney, AU
Built from
the floor up.
Tools for the physical world. I build operational software for manufacturing and production environments — apps that work where spreadsheets don't.
Herramientas para el mundo real, construidas desde adentro.
From the shop floor
to the codebase.
Morcho is a one-person studio born from years inside manufacturing operations — the kind where spreadsheets, tribal knowledge, and duct-taped workflows are the norm.
So we started building the tools that actually fit. Software that bridges the gap between the shop floor and modern digital systems — built by someone who has worked there.
Domain knowledge is the moat.
Anyone can read docs. Few people know what a production floor actually looks like at 7am when something breaks. That gap is where the real software lives.
Offline-first, always.
Warehouses, shop floors, and job sites don't have reliable WiFi. Every tool I build treats connectivity as a bonus, not a requirement.
AI as an accelerator, not a replacement.
I use AI-assisted development heavily and without apology. It lets a one-person operation build software that would otherwise need a full team.
Real problems, real constraints.
No hypotheticals. Every feature I've built started as a daily friction point in a real production environment.
Tools built in the field,
tested in production.
Each project started as a real operational problem. No hypotheticals — these are systems actively used by teams every day.
Signage Calculator
Public quoting calculator for signage projects. Estimate materials, dimensions, and pricing in seconds — no login required. Built for speed and simplicity.
Measurement & Quoting
Offline-first mobile app for site inspections and on-site quoting. Works without connectivity, syncs when back in range. Replaced a clipboard-and-email workflow.
3D Signage Configurator
Layer-based product builder inspired by Blender's Geometry Nodes. Products assembled from composable, reorderable material stacks linked to live inventory.
Pre-Press & Shop Floor
Real-time Kanban system for shop floor management — role-based access for Admins, Supervisors, and Operators. Live job status via Supabase Realtime, mobile-ready.
How I work.
I don't come from a CS background — I come from a production floor. That shapes everything: the problems I notice, the tradeoffs I make, the tools I trust.
No vengo de ciencias de la computación — vengo de la operación.
Understand the operation first.
Before writing a line of code, I map the workflow. Where does information die? Where does human memory replace systems? That gap is the spec.
Offline-first architecture.
Design for zero connectivity. If it works offline, it works everywhere. Sync is an enhancement — not the foundation.
Vibe-code with intention.
AI accelerates the build — I bring the domain knowledge, constraints, and judgment about what actually matters on a shop floor.
Ship, test in production, iterate.
I eat my own cooking. Every tool I build, I use. Feedback loops are tight because I'm the first user, not the last.
Let's talk about
your problem.
If you're dealing with operational chaos — disconnected tools, manual handoffs, or software that doesn't understand how your business actually works — I'd like to hear about it.
Si estás lidiando con procesos desconectados, hablemos.
